Kraft bags cross the ocean in 25–35 days through humidity swings. Three cheap precautions prevent nearly all arrival complaints.
1. Board and glue
Specify 120–250gsm kraft with a reinforced top fold and glued (not just folded) bottom. Water-resistant glue lines matter more than thicker paper.
2. Packing pattern
Bags ship flat in cartons, cartons on pallets with edge boards. Never mix bag cartons with liquid goods in one container.
3. Container discipline
Container desiccant poles (2–4 per 20GP), no stuffing during rain, and ventilate before sealing. Ask your forwarder for a dry-container checklist — then send it to us and we pack to it.
